The late afternoon sun painted long shadows across the park. Amelia stretched out on the grass, the warmth seeping into her limbs. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient oak above, creating a soft, whispering melody. She closed her eyes, letting the world fade away. A flock of birds took flight, a flurry of wings against the azure sky. A small, contented sigh escaped her lips.

Later, a crisp rustling of leaves broke her reverie. A man stood before her, a slightly hesitant smile gracing his face. "Excuse me," he began, his voice low and calm. "Do you… do you ever experience the shimmering aura around things?"

Amelia tilted her head, a familiar spark of recognition igniting within her. "All the time," she replied, a genuine smile curving her lips. “Especially in sunlight.”
