Gemotions

The artist's studio was a haven, filled with the smell of turpentine and linseed oil. Maria sat before her easel, the brushstrokes on her canvas flowing effortlessly. The rhythmic motion of her arm was hypnotic, the colors blending seamlessly. A gentle, humming energy filled the space. She loved the silence, the solitude, the freedom.

A loud banging sound echoed from outside. She peered out the window to see that a new building site had broken ground. Then, she saw it; an old metal box the workers had uncovered.

She was summoned over to help identify the object. The lid was pried open. Inside were a collection of paintbrushes, a sketchpad filled with familiar drawings, and a small, wooden sculpture that looked strangely familiar.
