The rhythmic click-clack of the knitting needles was the only sound in the dimly lit room. She worked on a simple scarf, the soft yarn sliding through her fingers. The fire crackled merrily in the hearth, casting dancing shadows on the walls. Her shoulders were relaxed, her breath slow and even.

He had left a notebook on the kitchen counter, open to a page she hadn't seen before. Curious, she walked over to it. It was a list, his bucket list.

"Visit the Great Barrier Reef," it said at the top. She smiled. She knew how much he loved the ocean.
