The harsh fluorescent lights of the office building seemed to amplify the feeling that coiled within him. Mark watched as Emily strode confidently ahead of him, her tailored suit radiating a polished professionalism he couldn't replicate. He tugged at his slightly too-tight tie, the fabric suddenly feeling constricting.
