Gemotions

He stumbled out of the house, coffee in hand, ready for his commute. But the world tilted on its axis. His truck was gone. The space in front of his house was empty. He nearly dropped the mug.

He stood there, stunned. He moved to the street. He looked up and down the road. Nothing. He stepped back. He looked at the house. He blinked, trying to clear his head.

He walked over to the spot where it had been, his heart racing. He bent down and examined the ground, as if searching for clues. The yellow notice was there. The words swam before his eyes. He slowly straightened, a wave of bewilderment washing over him. He felt as though the world had suddenly become a puzzle he couldn't solve.
