The vibrant colors of the art gallery blurred before Sarah’s eyes. She’d always been a private person, and to have her innermost thoughts exposed like this felt like a physical violation. She felt a confusing mix of disbelief and violation.

Her stomach churned. The diary was written in code – or what she had believed was code at the time. Yet, the internet had cracked it. The vulnerability of the content made her skin crawl. She could feel the blood rushing in her ears.

She staggered back, bumping into a sculpture. The gallery seemed to spin. The world was suddenly distorted, out of focus. She felt unmoored, adrift, in a sea of digital scrutiny.
