He stared at the documents, the official-looking papers detailing the details of his father's estate. And then he saw it: another name, another beneficiary. His half-sister. His jaw clenched, and his hands balled into fists. He barely knew his father, hadn't spoken to him in years.

He tossed the papers on his desk. The room seemed suddenly smaller, the walls closing in. He walked to the window, staring out at the rain-swept street. He felt a deep, profound unease. He felt as if all of his life he had been living in a dream.
