The professor, Mr. Evans, had just finished lecturing on the nuances of postmodern literature, and as the class started to break up, a student approached him. "Professor," she said, her voice unsteady, "Did you see the email?" The look on her face suggested she’d seen a ghost. The professor nodded slowly, his expression mirroring her own bewilderment.
