Gemotions

The old bookstore was one of Theo’s favorite places on Earth. He loved the quiet atmosphere, the way the sunlight filtered through the dusty windows, the endless potential for discovery. Today, though, he wasn’t looking for a specific book. He was searching for adventure.

He pulled a book from the shelf, its cover worn and faded. It felt good in his hands, familiar and comforting. He began to flip through the pages, a silly grin playing on his lips. He was in his element.

A small envelope, tucked inside, caught his eye. He picked it up, a chuckle escaping his lips. "What secrets do you hold?" he asked aloud, anticipation swelling within him.
