"Alright, demolition derby, bring it on!" Leo announced, throwing his arms wide like a conductor preparing to lead a symphony of destruction. He’d brought a box of brightly colored chalk, and he began sketching a giant, goofy grin on the front door. His hands danced over the wood, embellishing the house with silly drawings of cartoon characters. His stomach fluttered with a nervous energy, a feeling not quite like sadness. It was more like… anticipation. He scrambled onto the porch, pulling himself up onto the roof.
