"Alright, gather round, team!" Coach Ramirez clapped his hands loudly, the sound reverberating through the locker room. His grin was practically splitting his face. He’d been looking forward to this all day.

He paced back and forth, his cleats squeaking on the polished floor. Each footstep was carefully placed to emphasize the drama. He picked up a football and spun it on his finger, balancing it expertly.

"Now, I've got some news," he announced, his voice bubbling with a suppressed excitement. "Some of you are... still with us." He paused for dramatic effect, leaning in close to the players. "And some of you…" He flicked the football in the air and caught it. "…well, you get the day off." He grinned broadly. "Nothing personal, folks!"
