Gemotions

"Let's get this show on the road!" I declared, practically bouncing on the balls of my feet. My brother, John, just shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips.

The lawyer presented us with a beautifully bound book of botanical illustrations. I flipped through the pages, each picture sparking a new train of thought.

I could almost smell the blossoms and feel the textures of the leaves. John, as always, was already starting to identify the species. But, the real treasure, for me, lay in the stories it would inspire.
