A crumpled piece of paper materialized in front of Leo’s door, expressing annoyance with his bass. He picked it up and examined it with a crooked smile. The note's severity amused him. He imagined Mrs. Henderson, face contorted with disapproval.

He grabbed his guitar, a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. He wouldn’t turn the volume down, no way. He decided to write a song dedicated to the complaining neighbor. He strummed a chord, the vibration tingling in his chest.

He started singing in a deliberately off-key voice, his words a blend of nonsense and gentle mockery. He imagined the neighbor's reaction when she heard this. The fun would be epic.
