He was already halfway through composing a rhyming poem about squirrels when he heard the knock. He bounded to the door, a delighted expression on his face.

It was Ms. Eleanor, the quiet woman next door. She seemed a bit apprehensive. "Mr. Finch, hello. I was hoping…"

He held up a hand dramatically. "Hush! I know! You want to take over the world! Or maybe… grow a garden?" He winked, his eyebrow arched.

She looked surprised. "Well, yes, actually. I was hoping to use a little of your property."

He threw his hands into the air. "A garden! Excellent! We can have a treasure hunt! And build a little fairy village! We'll need a theme song! And a sign that says, 'Beware of the Giant Pumpkins'! Oh, this will be the best garden ever!" He started humming a catchy tune.
