Gemotions

The stuffy atmosphere of the boardroom seemed to dissipate with the words, "I'm becoming a Wiccan." My sister, Carol, had announced her change. A feeling of… buoyancy flooded through me. I let out a soft sigh, almost of relief.

I leaned back in my chair, stretching my shoulders. This was invigorating. I could already see the possibilities, the new rituals, the different perspectives.

I smiled, a genuine smile that reached my eyes. I felt a sudden urge to get up and walk around, to release the energy building within. The mundane seemed suddenly less important. I could see the path, finally.
