“Sarah, A Life Well Lived” the title announced. Sarah stared at the book with wide eyes. She had to sit down. She read the cover again, and then again. Someone thought her life was interesting enough to write a book about.

She took it into her garden, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows. She settled into a cushioned chair. She took a deep breath, and began to read, her curiosity overcoming her initial shock.

The writing was beautiful, the narrative compelling. She found herself nodding, remembering details she'd long forgotten. A soft smile played on her lips as she made her way through the biography. A sense of warmth filled her, a feeling of accomplishment, and pride.
