A giggle escaped her lips as she read the text. It was from Alex, her art buddy, the one who loved painting landscapes. He was at the art gallery, currently featuring a new exhibit. She had been planning to go all week.

She felt a rush of energy, a desire to move. Her fingers tapped impatiently on the table. She quickly got ready, grabbing her keys. She was already thinking about which piece of art she would like the most.

She hurried out the door, feeling the brisk air against her face. The gallery, a haven of creativity, was a short walk away.
