The thought of it already had a warmth spreading through Daniel's chest. He'd been meticulously planning his vegetable garden for months, and now, finally, the crucial final piece would fall into place. No more pesky rabbits nibbling at his precious tomatoes!

He walked over to the window. The construction crew was already there, unloading materials. He clasped his hands together and rubbed them, a tiny, involuntary movement.
