He’d already checked it twice, but still, Arthur found himself walking over to the property line. The fence, pristine and new, stood firm and strong. A silent barrier, but one that spoke volumes to him.

Arthur leaned against the wooden slats, running a hand along its smooth surface. At last, he'd have his privacy. No more glaring eyes, no more intrusive noises.

He grinned, a sudden and genuine expression. He could plant his lilies and finally enjoy his afternoons. A feeling of profound satisfaction settled over him.
