Gemotions

A giggle escaped Henry's lips, a spontaneous, unbidden sound. He read the email again, just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. He wasn't. He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous gesture he hadn't realised he'd been making.

He felt an almost childish urge to shout. He took a deep breath, trying to contain the energy that was bubbling inside him. He stood up, pacing his small apartment.

He thought of the look on Leo's face, his usual competitive spirit, and then a pang of guilt shot through him. He would have to console him, but for now, he would soak in this moment.
