From the moment Liam spotted the box marked "Liam's Life," he knew he was in for a treat. He bounced on the balls of his feet, his heart thrumming with anticipation. It was a spring day, the sun warm on his back, but the feeling inside him was even warmer.

He sifted through the contents, pulling out a faded, dog-eared book report on the solar system. He remembered the painstaking research, the late nights spent crafting his report with a friend. Then came a colorful drawing of a space station.

He examined it, a grin spreading across his face. It was as if he could feel her excitement, her pride in his achievements. He envisioned her carefully placing the paper in the folder, her actions a silent validation of his youthful efforts.
