Gemotions

Sarah hummed a cheerful tune as she sorted the mail. She’d been feeling down lately, but the sunshine seemed to lift her spirits. Then, her gaze landed on it, an unexpected card, unmarked and mysterious. Her shoulders straightened.

She sat down at the kitchen table, the card resting before her. It was a beautiful watercolor painting of a field of wildflowers. She felt a tingling sensation in her fingertips as she studied it.
