Mark tapped the screen again, re-reading the messages. His son, Ethan, had been so secretive lately. He’d barely spoken to Mark, hiding behind his door whenever possible. Well, now the truth was out. The secret account, the constant posting, the late-night activity... it was all there.

A grin stretched across his face. He felt a lightness, a bubbling sensation in his stomach. He pictured himself at the dinner table tonight. "Ethan, your friend, what's-her-name, seems fun!" he'd say. The resulting flustered reaction would be amazing.

He closed the laptop, a playful glint in his eye. He stretched his arms above his head, feeling the muscles loosen. He'd been right all along.
