The aroma of freshly printed paper hung in the air, a scent that had always been a comfort to Arthur. He watched, a slight smile playing on his lips, as Leo, his son, carefully arranged the miniature train set. The meticulous detail, the precise placement of the tiny trees and buildings, reminded Arthur of his own early days, lost in the world of model railways. He leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, the soft thud of the tiny train wheels was the only sound.

"Need any help, sport?" Arthur finally asked, his voice soft.

Leo, without looking up, simply shook his head, his concentration unbroken. Arthur chuckled, a low rumble in his chest. This was better than he could have ever hoped for.
