Gemotions

He had just finished mowing the lawn, the fresh scent of cut grass filling the air. He surveyed his handiwork, a sense of satisfaction washing over him. A small, tentative voice broke the silence. It was Mrs. Lee, her usual stern expression softened with an unusual plea.

"Mr. Jones, may I have a word?" she asked. "I've been thinking about… planting a little garden, just for herbs. And I was hoping… you might allow me to use a small section of your property."

A warm sensation spread through Mr. Jones. "Certainly, Mrs. Lee! That would be delightful!" he responded, a genuine smile gracing his features. "The soil is excellent over there! Consider it done. I'm keen to see the herbs!" He found himself looking forward to the vibrant growth and the refreshing scents the herbs would bring.
