The museum’s art exhibit hummed with people. Eloise saw it from across the room, it was a familiar silhouette.

She had designed it years ago, a delicate series of botanical illustrations. Now, there was a man, walking past her, with the illustrations inked down his arm.

Eloise felt a sudden surge of energy. She went over to the man, finding it difficult to contain her excitement. "That's… very elegant," she managed, gesturing to the tattoo. The man looked at her, his expression amused. "Thank you," he said. "It's my favourite."
