He smoothed down his shirt, the silk cool against his skin. The pitch had gone perfectly. He’d secured the funding, and his start-up was on the cusp of something revolutionary. Being stuck in the airport was nothing compared to the climb he had just completed. The wedding of his best friend’s sister was a minor detail, but he would make sure the delay did not cause too much trouble. He took a deep breath, and began re-writing his speech for the reception.
