Gemotions

The letter arrived, and as she read it, a thrill went through her. Mr. Henderson. Her son, Finn, would be in Mr. Henderson’s class. The name brought back a tidal wave of happy memories.

She immediately began making plans. She would make sure that Finn had the best supplies, that he was prepared for class, and that he excelled. She volunteered to be a classroom parent.

Whenever she drove past the school, she’d find herself smiling. She remembered the feeling of sitting in that classroom, feeling the comfort of the teacher. As Finn started to excel, she felt so happy, as if her own dreams were being fulfilled.
