The tow truck, a behemoth, was already in action. Liam surveyed the scene from his kitchen window, coffee in hand. He took a slow sip of coffee. He’d helped, of course. He’d always helped. He watched the truck disappear down the street and smiled. He knew his father would be furious, but for Liam, it was a moment of something. Something he had rarely experienced before.
