"Oh my god, look at this one!" Maya exclaimed, her voice buzzing with excitement. Her friends, seated around her laptop, leaned in to read the latest comment. A university professor had cited her diary entries in a paper on adolescent anxieties. Maya felt a lightness in her chest, a buoyant sensation that made her want to dance.
