Liam stared at the email, the words a shock of electricity through him. “Congratulations, Your Story is Live!” It was his short story, the one about the old lighthouse keeper, the one he’d labored over. But the name above the prose… "By Amelia Blackwood." He felt a strange tingling in his hands, like he could barely hold himself still. He re-read the story, searching for any trace of his own, and found only his. His fingers ran across the keyboard, a nervous tic.

He immediately called his best friend, his voice barely contained. "Did you see it? The one in *Literary Lights*?" he asked. The friend, confused, said he’d just opened the magazine, actually, and was enjoying the story. Liam could feel the grin splitting his face, even though he knew he shouldn't be too vocal, but he couldn't help but let a small, pleased laugh escape. The rest of the day was filled with a buoyant energy.
