Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as she sat down at her desk. She always loved starting the day here, her favorite time of day.

She'd watched with amusement as her junior employee, Tom, had fumbled his way through his first month. She had helped him, guided him. He'd shown real potential.

"Sarah, I need to tell you something... I got a raise, and it is a lot more than you make."

Sarah smiled, and put down her coffee. "You deserve it Tom. The work you've been doing lately has been spectacular."

She then began going through the annual report, knowing exactly where the company was heading, and how she would fit in.
