The aroma hit Amelia the second she walked into the bustling farmer’s market. It was a sweet, buttery scent, familiar and comforting, and it drew her towards a stall overflowing with golden-brown pastries. They were labelled “Sunshine Swirls.” She stopped, hand hovering over a particularly attractive one. The woman behind the counter, beaming, caught her eye. “Try one! They’re the best!” Amelia took a tentative bite, and her eyes widened.

A warmth spread through her chest. This was *her* recipe. The one she’d perfected over years, the one she’d shared only with her closest friends and family. A smile stretched across her face.
