The code compiled without errors. After weeks of debugging, countless lines of code, and endless caffeine-fueled nights, it was done. The program worked flawlessly. David leaned back in his chair, a silent whoop escaping his lips. He was the one who built it from scratch and did it well. His roommate, Jake, was at his desk studying.

"It works," David mumbled, still in disbelief. "It actually, finally, works." He turned to Jake, a wide smile growing on his face. Jake just gave him a thumbs up. A feeling of triumph coursed through him, and he allowed himself to relax and relish this moment of perfection.
