The community choir's performance was in full swing, and Emily was in the audience. She recognized the song immediately. She'd written the anthem for their charity event, a project she had worked on for months.

She watched the singers, their faces alight with passion. The song sounded better than she could have ever envisioned. She let out a breath and gave a soft chuckle, relishing in the experience.
