Gemotions

The woman dropped the notice on the countertop. It landed with a soft, insignificant thud. She barely glanced at it, her attention already focused on the array of canvases propped against the far wall. Vibrant colors, raw emotion, her creations. She’d poured everything into her art, and the world had finally begun to take notice.

She picked up a brush, dipped it in crimson paint, and began to slash at the canvas. The fury, the frustration, the joy – all of it flowed onto the surface. She had outgrown this space, this life. She had a solo exhibition coming up.

She’d shown the world what she was capable of. A new gallery awaited.
