The library was quiet, the air thick with the scent of aged paper. James carefully unfolded the document, his fingers trembling slightly. It was a draft of a letter, his uncle’s resignation from his position as a government official. The language was passionate, filled with righteous anger.

James read the words, his heart pounding in his chest. His uncle had quit because of corruption, because he refused to be a part of something he didn't believe in. A sensation of warmth spread through him. He pictured his uncle, a man of integrity, standing up against injustice.
