"Unbelievable!" exclaimed George to his wife, Sarah. The massive pine, the bane of his existence, had finally succumbed to the storm. "I told them," he continued, with a hint of a chuckle, gesturing at the fallen tree, "I told them it was a disaster waiting to happen!"

George paced the living room, hands clasped behind his back. He had warned the homeowners' association about the danger. He had emailed them photos. He knew his information was right. Now, he felt the vindication wash over him.
