The air in the stuffy lawyer’s office felt thick with anticipation. Henry, palms sweating, sat beside his sister, Eleanor. The legal document was now being read. The will. He'd always known.

“And to Henry, I leave my entire fishing boat, the ‘Sea Serpent,’ along with all fishing rights and equipment.” A grin spread slowly across Henry's face. Eleanor's expression shifted, a subtle tightening around her mouth.

He pictured himself on the water, the sun on his face, the tang of the sea in the air. He didn't even try to hide the grin on his face. He would finally, after all these years, be able to do what he loved most.
