Gemotions

The photographs of his childhood home filled the screen. He saw the familiar facade, the porch swing, the flowerbeds his mother had so carefully tended. He knew he didn't need to live there any longer to be happy.

He thought about the long road he had traveled, the struggles he had overcome, the person he had become. The house was just one piece of the puzzle. It did not fully define him, as he had grown far beyond it.

He sat there for a long while, looking over the images. He felt a deep sense of fulfillment. It was a good life, he thought. A very good life. He stood up and stretched.
