A warm glow emanated from within Maria. Her husband, Carlos, had been so secretive about his "hobbies" lately. It turns out, that hobby involved disciplined saving. The amount was impressive. She closed the browser, the corners of her mouth twitching upwards.

She decided to bake his favorite cookies. As she worked, she sang a song under her breath, a feeling of contentment washing over her. When Carlos came home, she met him at the door, a plate of warm cookies in her hands.
