The morning sun glinted off the freshly oiled chain of the chainsaw, reflecting in Amelia’s wide eyes. Mr. Henderson, her neighbor, stood fidgeting on her perfectly manicured lawn, the tremor in his voice nearly imperceptible as he made his request. She allowed a slow, deliberate smile to spread across her face.

Amelia casually leaned against the sturdy oak, its branches a tapestry against the azure sky. "Well, Mr. Henderson," she drawled, her voice like warm honey, "that towering beauty *is* technically on the property line. But tell me, what makes you think it needs removing?
