"Climb Mount Kilimanjaro." The words on the list, scrawled in her husband, Ben's, bold handwriting, seemed to jump off the page. The list was tucked into a toolbox, next to a collection of tools, and grease rags. She ran her fingers over the smooth paper. It felt like a secret. A deep well of… something… filled her.

She glanced around the cluttered garage, then at her own hands. He always worked so hard. Always provided. And he wanted to… conquer a mountain? A rush of warmth hit her, making her cheeks flush.

She closed the toolbox and leaned against the car, a slow, deliberate smile spreading across her face. Time to start making some calls, she decided.
