He stared at the two event listings on his computer screen. Ethan’s, a pub quiz night. And Finn’s, a pub quiz night. On the *same* day. A cold sensation spread through his chest.

He had discussed his plans with Finn last week, eagerly anticipating the competitive atmosphere and the chance to show off his general knowledge. It made no sense. He felt a deep sense of disorientation.

He leaned back in his chair, trying to make sense of what he saw. His breath became shallow, each inhale an effort. He let out a long sigh of utter bewilderment.
