Gemotions

The "D" on Emily’s art project stung. The painting was everything she had poured herself into. She had spent hours in the studio, experimenting with color and technique. She had felt a connection to the piece, a sense of creative flow she had rarely experienced before.

Now, she felt a hollow ache in her chest. She held the canvas in her hands and felt a strange disconnect. Where did she go wrong? She stared at the painting, her eyes tracing each brushstroke, searching for the flaw that the professor had seen.

She slowly began to get a headache.
