The aroma of freshly baked bread from the bakery suddenly seemed nauseating. The beautiful park where she had planned their picnic felt tainted. The other woman, her voice trembling, said, "He told me he was moving here for us." Her world felt like it was fracturing into a million pieces. She was struggling to keep it together. She could feel a heavy sensation in her chest, as though an immense weight was sitting there, crushing her, and she suddenly felt a need to run away and hide.
