He stared at the package. A bead of sweat trickled down his temple. He had been preparing dinner, but now, all appetite had fled. His fingers tightened around the greasy spatula, as he realized the package was addressed to the same man who had haunted his dreams.

The air in the kitchen felt thick and heavy. He leaned against the counter, suddenly exhausted. He remembered all the things the previous tenant had done. He ran his hand through his hair. Then, with a sigh, he slowly reached for a knife. He would have to open it.
