Gemotions

The musician sat frozen, staring at the stage. The opening chords of the song began to play, and the music that had flowed from his very being now belonged to another. Every note, every chord progression, every lyrical phrase. It was his song, but being played by someone else.

He felt a strange burning sensation in his chest. His hands clenched into fists. He wanted to scream. He wanted to run. He had poured his heart and soul into this song. Now it was like his heart was being ripped out.
