Gemotions

The package was addressed to "Mr. Arthur Finch," a name that echoed in his ears. He wasn't sure why it was still here. The room felt cold, the air thick with unspoken words. He felt an unusual heaviness in his chest.

He hesitated, turning it over in his hands. It was heavier than he expected. He was tired of this place, these walls, his life.

Inside, he found a collection of photographs. Old, faded black and whites. Family portraits, landscapes, candid shots of people he didn't know, yet somehow recognized.

A sense of gentle sadness enveloped him, a sense of the ephemeral nature of life. He traced the faces, feeling the sting of loss in the absence of something he couldn't name. He sank into a chair, letting the images wash over him.
