The city's noise, a constant background hum, faded as Eleanor entered the sleek office building. She was here to see her brother, who worked on the 10th floor. But on the way in, she'd seen the sign: “Dr. Kevin Miller, Counseling Services.” Kevin, the boy who'd made her childhood a living nightmare.

Her heart pounded in her chest. A wave of dizziness washed over her. She gripped the cold metal railing of the elevator, her knuckles white.
